We had asked readers if the Karnataka Congress can recover from the blow dealt by H D Kumaraswamy, who on Wednesday withdrew support to the government.

The readers have responded. An overwhelming number of readers believe that Karnataka is in a catch-22 situation.

And they are unanimous about the fact that the Congress government has done nothing worthwhile in the 19 months that it has been in power.

Sample these:

From acidic (Dharam Singh deserves to be kicked out -- Sudhakar Shanbhag) to angry (Dharam Singh has annoyed all the businesses and made a mess of Bangalore Avtar Kaul) to self pity (If [Dharam Singh] doesn't [survive], then its obvious that Kumaraswamy will be the CM & that can be the worst nightmare for Karnataka Raju)

There was the rare ardent Congress supporter too. (Rediff.com is throwing all pretence of neutrality by the way they presented this message board. Congress is as strong as ever in Karnataka Thomas)
