IA launches 24-hr helpline

December 02, 2004 19:33 IST

Indian Airlines on Thursday said it had launched a 24-hour helpline number to minimise the likely inconvenience to its passengers on account of adverse weather conditions during the months of December and January.

The helpline number 1407 at Chennai, Bangalore and Delhi could be accessed for arrival/departure information of Indian Airlines flights.

Passengers can also get flight information on dialing the telephone number 1402 (pre-recorded), it said.

Indian Airlines has also requested the passengers to mention their contact numbers while booking tickets for all stations on their itinerary.
