Dengue: Toll 135; 170 fresh cases

The number of people who have died of dengue has gone up to 135 in the country.

As many as 170 fresh cases were reported on Friday.

So far close to 7,000 people have been affected by the mosquito-borne disease.

Two men, aged 23 and 68 years, and a 15-year-old girl died in Delhi.

The number of those who have died in the capital has gone up to 48.

Health officials said that 88 fresh cases were detected.

With this, the national capital has accounted for 1908 cases.

Three persons died due to dengue in Andhra Pradesh, increasing the toll there to 11.
