His wife Priyanka is two months pregnant, and is expected to have the baby February-March 2013.
Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra tweeted his wishes for the couple: 'Congratulating my dear friend @vivek_oberoi and his wife Priyanka on the good news and welcoming them to parenthood soon!'
Co-incidentally, Vivek's sister Meghna is also expecting her first child around the same time.
Sunny Leone leaves India
Jism 2 star Sunny Leone has left India for a few weeks and will return soon to prepare for her next film Ragini MMS 2. 'Well thank you sooooo much India again for an amazing trip. Ill be back in just a few weeks!! I love you all!!!!' she tweeted.
Meanwhile, the other Jism 2 actor Randeep Hooda has started shooting for Murder 3. 'First day of shoot in Cape Town.. It's windy cold and overcast but I have brought my sunshine with me ;) Murder 3 a vishesh films production.. directed by Vishesh Bhatt .. My sunshine is my attitude,' he updated.

The trailer of Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal is out.
Shreyas Talpade shared the trailer and tweeted: 'Guys the theatrical trailer of kamaal dhamaal malamaal is out. pls lemme know what u feel about it.'
Directed by Priyadarshan, the film also stars Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, Rajpal Yadav and Shakti Kapoor.
The film is scheduled to release on September 28.
