Sonakshi Sinha shared a picture (above) of her from her Holi celebrations and tweeted: 'Happy Holiiiiii!!! Paani bachao, dhoom machao!!'  

Akshay Kumar, on the other hand, spent Holi away from home. 'Hate being away from home specially on festivals. You guys are lucky to get to spend the day with family & friends, make the most of it. Stay away from chemical colors and urge everyone around to play a waterless Holi. Happy Holi :)' he wrote.

Actress Neha Sharma wrote: 'My holi was awesum..ate a lot of maa ke haath ka Khana..missd my sister nd bro though,who r far away in Chicago this holi..'

Lara Dutta Bhupathi was with her family. 'Hope u had a fun Holi! :-).Mine was spent with friends and fam. Daughter is a pro!May the enthusiasm of Holi forever b present in ur life!' she wrote.

Sonam Kapoor recently finished shooting for her forthcoming film Raanjhanaa, opposite Dhanush.

Celebrating the festival of colours, Sonam shared a still from the film and wished her fans. 'Guys this was just a teaser picture and holi greeting from team raanjhana! The official look and theatrical will arrive soon! Watch this space!' she tweeted.

Bollywood stars condemned the attack on Sadashiv Amrapurkar after he protested against wastage of water at a Holi event in his neighbourhood.

Dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa is back with a new season but the same set of judges.
