What: Ministry of Culture has invited applications for award of scholarships to young artistes for the year 2007-2008.

Details

~ Under this scheme, a total of 400 scholarships will be awarded to young artistes in different cultural fields namely

• Indian Classical Music
• Indian Classical Dance
• Theatre
• Visual Arts
• Folk / Traditional and Indigenous Arts

Are you eligible?

• You should be between the ages of 18 to 25 as on April 1, 2007
• You should have undergone a minimum of five years training with gurus or institutes

Important date(s)

The last date for submission of applications is June 30.
